A low-cost experimental setup we measured the IR back-radiation from varying CO2 levels within a given N2 atmosphere. The results confirm previous findings about an infrared CO2 saturation within the earth atmosphere.
Measurements were also performed studying potential thermal
forcing of additional CO2 against clear night skies. These results and their interpretation should be seen as another contribution to the general discussion about correct climate measures to be taken.
A significant correlation between the increased hours of sunshine and the increase in the average temperature in Germany based on the data from the DWD (German Weather Service) has been found. 370 more hours of sunshine in Central Europe are equivalent to a temperature increase of 1°C. This result has also an impact on the negative feedback loops for cloud formation. We evaluated data of global radiation from Potsdam measured since 1947.

We used modelling tools like Spectracalc, MODTRAN, RRTM and CMIP5 to support the argumentation on minor climatic contributions due to CO2 doubling in concentrations. Comparing similar geographic zones in the northern and southern hemisphere reflect different temperature history during the last 150 years. This cannot be simply explained by greenhouse gas increases.
If a system equilibrium is disturbed by changing parameters, it restores an equilibrium by counteracting. A negative water feedback loop from cloud formations depends on condensation aerosol concentrations, realistic albedo values depending on optical depths measurements and other limitations. This natural thermostat is counteracting an additional greenhouse effect of increased water vapor at slightly increased global temperatures.

CO2 is saturated at today’s levels, so more CO2 hardly contributes to warming. This means that our emissions from the combustion of fossil fuels will have little influence on global warming from now on.

In this experiment, the temperature inside the can (representing the Earth’s atmosphere) increases due to forced convection with both CO2 and ARGON (control gas) to the same extent. Therefore, this experiment cannot demonstrate the temperature increase of the Earth’s atmosphere due to CO2.

Change in temperature measurement methods by meteorological institutes – A critical analysis based on quality management principles – The hypothesis: Human-induced climate changes are associated with the increase in global average temperature -> Key question: Have the meteorological institutes implemented adequate change management to ensure that the temperature time series are not distorted by these changes?
